Electric Sheep and Plato

Here's a short description for the Learning Community Electric Sheep and Plato: The Philosophy of Supernatural Literature:

What makes us distinctly human? What is truth? Why does evil exist? These are some of the timeless questions that humankind has struggled with for centuries. In Electric Sheep and Plato: The Philosophy of Supernatural Literature students have a chance to explore some of these classic philosophical issues through the prism of Supernatural and Science Fiction literature. The works of such writers, as Mary Shelley and Philip K. Dick will be examined in connection with the philosophical teachings of Plato and Socrates.
